TP screen problem

i seached and could not find anyone having this problem. Two days ago this started happening when i was using google maps.

The screen does not show correclty, randomly, what should be the left side of the screen shows on the right, and what should be on the right shows on the left. sometimes the top is on the bottom and and bottom is on the top. The image is still there, but its not correct. ?? and it does this and just flickers around. Sometimes it shows correctly, but then it starts up randomly again.

I am running energy rom, which was running fine for 3 weeks now.

I just tried flashing to a newer update of energy rom, it started happening again after the custimizations ran.

I tried hard reset, and it is still happening.

Anyone have any ideas? i bought the phone on ebay 4 months ago.

thank you

No. You only need to do that if your sending it in. If you still have the screen problems when you flash to stock it might be a hardware issue.

I can't say for sure its a hardware issue. But if its happening on multiple ROMs, it very well might be. Unless someone else has a suggestion, you might end up having to get it looked at.

Re: TP screen problem

Sounds like a hardware problem. I've never experienced it, but i've read on here of people having this problem before their screen quit working all together. Hopefully you have TEP on your account? If so you should be able to have it repaired or replaced through TEP since you said it's been activated for over a month.

I'd be interested to know what steps you took to get it resolved.
My wife's TP is doing the same thing. Hers started on the stock ROM so I flashed MightyROM and the problem continues. I found an ATI D3D driver but it doesn't help.
We also bought our phone through a private seller and have no insurance.
I guess I had better get the insurance and get ready to replace the phone....bummer.

Re: TP screen problem

is the phone under manufactor warranty? mine was and i brought it into sprint to the repair shop, they said wait an hour they will try to fix it. i came back and they said they will send me a new TP2. Now i am using a tp2. Sprint is replacing tp1 for tp2. There are a few threads about it in here, look into it.
