Sprint replacing Touch Pro with Touch Pro 2!

Hey all, I took my Touch Pro to a sprint store, and the keyboard is not really working anymore and it locks up about 6 times a day. They won’t replace the phone, because I have a crack in the chrome about 2 mm long…. They say the phone is physically damaged and I have to pay $100 to get it fixed… Sad thing is I have had the crack since almost day one of this phone and had no problems till recently.

If there isn’t any way around the $100 is there a way insurance can get me a TP2? I am out of contract for 4 years now, and when the punk tossed (as in threw) the phone back at me and said its $100. I almost called sprint in front of him and canceled my service.

I'd have played butterfingers and missed his toss, then see what he'd charge. :P
