If you have insurance, the terms of your plan dictates what is covered.

In this case, insurance requires a $100 deductible and return of the old hardware to Asurion.

If you have a service plan with Sprint, that covers the cost of repairs, but doesn't stipulate any provision for a loaner device.

In short, anyone demanding a loaner under the terms of the standard plans is asking for something they are not entitled to have. Now, you can argue that they should never have agreed to those terms, but they did.

Why should a company offer services for free that were never promised or even implied?

Well, we are going to have to agree to disagree. It will be left at that.

It doesn't matter anyway cause I just drove to a different shop and spoke with a district mgr and was informed about many of things that should have happened that didn't. Its all good. I have now a months service credit, new monthly discount, and the feeling that somebody actually cares representing sprint. We'll see though.
