The memo is still on howard forums, just do a search. Its towards the 8-9 page. But it directs you to here, so just look for it!

I have a refurb Touch Pro (original one had a dead keyboard) that gets hot, has terrible battery life, and has a flakey keyboard...

So, I went to the Sprint Store tonight, brought the memo with me, showed it to the Manager, he read it, and noticed that the memo states:

He said, he still has to follow the standard exchange procedure regardless, so let me give it to our tech, he'll take a look at it, and we'll let you know in 30 mins.

He comes back, and says "Sorry sir, we could not duplicate the issues you reported".

I was like, you've got to be kidding me, I've only been here for 1 hour, and the batter went from 100% to 70% in < 1 hour, without any background apps running, and data services being used, and you tell me you can't duplicate it?

He said "sorry sir, we didn't see what percentage the battery was at, but our test indicated that the battery is in good working order"

As for the heat issue, he ignored that altogether despite the phone being hot, and the unresponsive keyboard issue he said is something common due to heavy demands of some apps bogging the phone down.

BS. It's uncommon for me to type something, then have it not appear on the screen, albeit intermittently (this is a symptom of my last TP keyboard right before it died as well).

I tried, but they didn't comply.

ight, i think im gettin closer to solvin this...so all i gotta do is, go to the store, tell them i got problems with the fone, and show them the 2 main files in the attachment?? (5x4t3q.jpg and 25f1xzq.jpg)?? and i should get a TP2?

soooo it finally worked in my favor...i went in last week (screen and keyboard failed) and they ordered another tp1 i mentioned the memo and they all played dumb...
so yesterday i got my NIB TP1 (yippee skippee) and quickly flashed my psyki rom and went about my day kinda bummed... around 8 pm i had the thought Psyki rom rules i should just flash my shipped rom (which ALWAYS suck) and wait for the glitch to appear.... 2 minutes later i cant access www.ppcgeeks... i keep getting an opera9.exe error:headbang: so off to sprint i go again, the tech couldnt fix it so they were going to order me another tp1 ](*,) so then BLAMMO i whip out my memo and the kid (who never saw it) brings it to his manager who screams "who had this!!!." he also said its "not supposed to be proactive", funny ithought thats EXACTLY what the memo read...but he said since i saw and knew about it that he will call me as soon as its available(the tp2 that is).. YIPPEE... 6 TPs = 1 TP2=D&gt;

thats the plan. be sure that u have a real problem with the phone cause some do ceck...
and oh yea. GOOD FREAKING LUCK cause i havent goten any so far. some places just denie it. someplaces just tell you its fake. some places tell u some BS about having 3 diff phones within 6 months. and the place i went to said "the phone is fine!" wth.
good luck. oh yeah and if you do get lucky. they will most likely tell you that touch pro 2 is OUT OF STOCK! wich it is.
from what i understand, the replacement must be through a diffrent area than the sales. cause if your BUYING the touch pro 2 they can order you a new one. if you want to replace tp with tp2 (REPLACEMENT) is a diff deparment that dont have any replacement tp2 in stock.
thats what i was told. im not sure if its BS or not
