6.5 can't touch the stability of 6.1 yet. |

Re: I still use 6.1
I think I have honestly tried just about every Diamond ROM here, and theres some awesome 6.5 ROMs out there. but I always seem to end up back on MightyROM 4R3BORN Final.
If I could just get it to scroll as smooth as 6.5 Id be happy! Honestly, its more stable and much faster than my Stock Alltel ROM, plus no extra carrier crap added in. And its faster and smoother than all the 6.5 ROMs Iv tried. I have had ZERO issues with this ROM and Iv ran it for over a month straight without flashing or hard resetting before (and thats a extremely long time for me, LOL) Honestly the only things I prefer about 6.5 over 6.1 is the scrolling, the start menu and I like the contacts better in 6.5 (they seem spaced out better and more finger friendly) and thats my 2 cents

Re: I still use 6.1
Install SPB 3.5 on a 6.1 rom and play with that for a while. I don't see a reason to ever go back to anything else. One other important thing to make you love your phone more is to install that keyboard config program.
Here is how mine is setup. Volume up: 1 click - vol up 2 clicks - google maps long press - toggle bt Volume dn: 1 click - vol dn 2 click - close active program long press - toggle wifi I also programmed the home and back buttons with stuff... but that is a very important program to install. The coolest thing is that you can save the config and reload it if you ever flash your phone. -Roger |

Re: I still use 6.1
I have tried alot ........... I mean it ALOT , pretty much all the customed ROMS here , all the kichens......all the famous and non famous ROM cooks , 6.5 and 6.1 and finally went back to Mighty 4.16 which is a 6.1 ROM , it is the snappiest and the fastest , most stable and it is 6.1
i like 6.1 cause it is faster ........more stable and I like the menus...i do not really like the finger friendly menus ....i like using the styles. in 6.5 each menu you hit .......it fills the screen , you dont get to see anything else in it . in 6.1 the menus are feasible size . lets not talk about the speed and how 6.1 is sooooooooooo faster . stability wise .......... 6.1 went through ALOT of build and improvements , 6.5 is still buggy even with the best ROMS. start menu and finger friendly menus are trying to be like an i phone................the thing that I do not like ........windows shoud have its own (personality ) and should not imitate iphone or hPhone or whatever. 6.1 is by all measures is better.it is not my personal opinion ......it is the logic. |

the best features I've seen in 6.5 are all in the 6.5.1 roms and those are really the most unstable. The others don't really add much other than honeycomb, titanium and slightly better scrolling. Not enough for me to jump off of the stability and speed of 6.1 |
