Finally happened..keyboard died..Very impressed with VZW's service.

So what I read about all the time on here happened to me, the keyboard died on my 1st TP after about 6 months. After a flash back to factory/relock, I took it in to the Verizon store I bought it in (well, it was an Alltel store when I bought it originally). Did this around 6 pm Wednesday night.

The tech looked at it for about 2 minutes & said "Yup...Keyboard is bad", popped the back to look for water damage (didn't find any) & proceeded to order me a refurb "Alltel" TP under warranty. I swear it took me longer to reflash back to factory then it did for them to order me a new phone.

I was told I would receive it either Friday or Monday. The phone was delivered to me Thursday around noon....Yes, 18 hrs later.

I am very impressed with how well I was taken care of. I have read many horror stories on the net about dealing with the Alltel/VZW merger...people getting VZW TPs or Diamonds to replace their Alltel TP, etc.. I just wanted to post to show that some people have good experiences with it.
