Touch Pro not charging? on its last life? Help!

i remember my first mogul having this issue back in the day but that was after 1 charge... this is 10 months later with the tp.

any suggestions or similar experiences? also, does htc or sprint cover phones if it's less than a year old? i don't have an equipment protection added on my plan... but i remember a ecare telling me something like "your phone is older than 30 days so i cannot help you, but you are covered for a full year so take it in.." when i was complaining about chrome and display issues.

I am having this problem also. I am running energy rom. I noticed it one day i left my phone in the car charging and when i came back the phone instead of charging was completely dead and the phone was extremly hot. After that day it isnt able to charge in my car or not able to charge from my computer from the usb port. It only charges VIA ac wall charger. Any takers out there what is wrong. I notice a setting with nue battery fast charge that when fast charge is enable it gives u a warning that this can damage USB port. Someone help me before i take it back to sprint store. Thank you in advance.
