Syncing issues with new rom

I recently flashed the Energy Rom.I cannot seem to connect my TP via USB on my Mac. I have tried just about everything I can think of. Can someone please offer me some suggestions? I had this issue when I had WM 6.1 but was able to check a setting in Active sync to make it work. I cannot seem to find that in WM 6.5. Could Snow Leopard be screwing this up for me?
