Touch Pro randomly dying

It's getting very annoying, my pro will cut off for no reason. Plenty of battery. It might be related to when I tried to put the battery back in in the dark and bent the metal prongs.

I've tried many different roms and it's always been the same.

I thought it was related to the native kernal, but i tried an older rom and it still happens.

I'm thinking about picking up a cheap moto q9c and doing a warranty replacement. .

P.S.

I have an upgrade on my account, but I don't want to use it yet. Will the ESN swap with a phone I buy on ebay burn the rebate? Hopefully not.

Can't you just bend the prongs back a bit? (gently)

I did, and it works, but now it resets randomly. If it weren't Yom Kippur I would order the new phone today.
