Cant put other carrier branded onto Verizon?

Hey people,

I have a TP that I have unlocked and put Mighty Rom on. I have searched the forums and found several how-to guides on how to verizonize my TP. I followed all of the instructions (DUM, PRL, change MSL, etc, etc) and even flashed the leaked TP verizon rom to the phone for good measure.

When I called verizon to have them switch the ESN from my old phone to this one they tell me they cant locate it in their system and it will not let them change the phone over. To my understanding if the ESN on their side doesn't match my phone then I cant activate it.

What am I missing? Help would be appreciated.

You are missing your phones esn in Verizon's DB. The only way to fix that is to find an employee to add it in who does not care about "the rules."
