Which means there's a perfectly good refurb out there....
I don't think it's a problem to discuss issues with any particular ROM (even by name) as long as you're honest, remotely friendly about it and are willing to accept that pinning down a problem with any ROM can go a lot of different ways - to something as obscure as some random program you like causing an issue that no one foresaw. ROM makers don't generally set out to mess with people as far as I can tell...if you discover a legitimate problem, many will actually try to see if they can get it fixed. But as bored said...you're going to need to provide a lot more information than you did to get help. Just curious, did you restore a backup on your new TP or is activesync not working fresh out of the box with nothing installed? |

Re: Well, got a new touch pro and still cant activesync>>
as mentioned above. need more info.....
but, i'll take 2 wild stabs at it. 1. uninstall then reinstall Microsoft Activesync (if you have XP) or WMDC (if you have vista) 2. click start-settings-connections-usb to pc, then uncheck or check the box under Activesync |

Re: Well, got a new touch pro and still cant activesync>>
well when i got my tp i had the same problem and also after a couple of random installs. check your settings\connections\USB to PC. make sure you have "advanced network functionality" unchecked. its not always set default out of the box and sometimes for some reason your setting can be bumped with curtain installs. hope that works for ya if you haven't already tried. as soon as i unchecked it....boom.. instant sync

TP2 Is a lot better than tp1 so it's worth the switch. You'll notice how easier it is to navigate your TP2 then TP1 and how snappy it is. You won't regret it!
