Re: Touch Pro is now overclockable No2chem did it!

Benchmarking the same file in TCPMP:

At 768mhz - benchmark speed = 136.54%
At 528mhz - benchmark speed = 106.85%

I'm quite happy. We'll see how bad the battery life is.

Also - while there was some improvement with the emulators I use, they still don't run 100%. But still, they run A LOT better.

With regards to the lockups - I don't know if any of the following info might help, but I haven't locked up yet. I'm using a stock rom, without touchflo3D using 1.3 of the overclock utility.

Re: Touch Pro is now overclockable No2chem did it!

im wondering if the lockups are custom rom related? I may just flash back to stock, and see how it goes.

Re: Touch Pro is now overclockable No2chem did it!

For those experiencing lockups, you might not have read No2chem's release notes:

"(2) Overclock seems to be stable on AC, but not stable on battery. Seems to be PMIC related, so I’ll have to work on a way to get that working."

Mine instantly locks on battery, but has been running overclocked all night while plugged in.

Re: Touch Pro is now overclockable No2chem did it!

Anyone able to successfully OC running a 6.5 ROM?

Freezing here immediately on a 6.5 custom rom on both AC and battery.

Re: Touch Pro is now overclockable No2chem did it!

It's working great for me on battery. I'm currently doing a usage test to determine if battery life is going to be ridiculously bad. So far, it's not as bad as I thought at would be.

Again, I'm running stock.

Re: Touch Pro is now overclockable No2chem did it!

For his next trick I would like to see it overclock itself when needed, then underclock when it goes into standby. Or create a toggle for it, link it up to the backlight or something. But as usual everyone is watching him.
