well the setting can be changed back.... so can a reg entry... i dont see the point here...
if your worried about a gf changing the setting back to catch u or something... i somehow doubt she'll know how to navigate through your phone... anytime u change a setting, your using the registry.... this is how you backup all your settings, by exporting the registry... that default setting will work for ya just fine IMO..

Either get honest or remember Menu-> Options-> Empty Deleted Items from the inbox page.

Its funny, at least 35 threads a day are people who tried to flash and messed up, or wonder why in the middle of the night their phone up and did a hard reset by 'itself'.
