Changing the default browser Pocket IE or Opera on the Internet Tab in Touch Pro

OK boys -
1. tried to use total Commander to edit the application data\manila folder as advised on a thread, but can not find that destination on the touch pro. Does anyone know where to find it or how to change the destination of the internet icon on the touch pro?
2. How about changing the program listed at the bottom corners of the touch pro screen, i.e., on left side it may say phone on the right bottom corner it may say SMS. I want to change those options.
