ah, that i do not know... i know like your contacts is pim file, thats about it... never needed to know txt... someone wil tel u im sure
i dont save alot of txts... if i really need a convo i had with someone i just print it via PictBridge and theres my record

If I remember right, pimbackup does work, BUT, you have to UNcheck the compress option before you make your backup. If I remamber right you can open it in notepad.
It would be easiest if you only backed up your texts at this time to...
