screen turns off auto resets???

someone please help me out? everytime my screen shuts off it auto resets. weither it turns off after the 30 sec off inactivity or i press the power button to shut the screen off and sleep it just resets my phone. anyone else ever had this problem? it happened to me once before but somehow just starting working the right way again. ive tried wiping the device re-installing the rom, by the way i have energy rom on a sprint tp. anyone somebody help this is the most annoying thing ever. thanks.

I just had the same thing happen... and it was right after I installed the Energy rom... my phone was toasted... I had to get another... I did about four hard resets and tired Mighty, Juicy, and the stock ROMs all with same result... anytime the screen turned off, phone reset... get a new phone... good luck.

I say flash the stock rom then hard reset.
Then flash the rom of your choice and hard reset. Might do it. Dunno.

this is a known issue with the touch pro...just had mine exchanged for the same problem!!

mine has done that twice now. every time it happens my phone is i nmy back pocket with teh power button toward the ground. not sure if that has anything to do with it, but both times it has happened this has been the situation. i usually pull the battery to get it to stop and then flash back to the OEM ROM once i get home. this has fixed it both times for me.
