Quick question

Theres alot of talk of wm 6.1 vs wm 6.5, and ive had both, and ive come to love wm 6.5 and titanium. What im trying to figure out is, while we all know that ATM wm 6.5 is at best, as stable, but im most cases, less stable than 6.1, why is it that so many people insist on running wm 6.5 with manilla, when manilla was designed for 6.1. Is there another advantage aside from titanium and the lockscreen? I know the start menu has been restructured, but it seems with all the problems ive seen with manilla running under 6.5, that if you wanted to run manilla, youd be better off sticking with a stable 6.1 rom.

Im not trying to rant or tell people what to do, so please dont take it that way. im merely trying to understand the fascination with 6.5 for those who use very few of its features that make it different from 6.1.
