TP Freezes while charging

I'm not sure if I should post this here or in the CDMA forum since it may be ROM related, but I've been having this problem with multiple ROMS (Mighty6/Energy). Frequently while I'm charging my phone over night, the whole thing freezes. The next morning when I eventually wake up (alarm didn't work since the phone is froze), I have to do a soft reset to get it to respond. Also, althought it was plugged into the outlet over night, it's only got about 14% battery left. Has anyone else had this problem or know what might cause it?
