Replacement Chrome Faceplate
Where can I get a replacement chrome faceplate?
Mine got cracked somehow and I don't wanna go through a replacement again. Asurion wants me to pay 100 even though I pay for insurance which is total BS. Last edited by xdanimalx; 08-18-2009 at 12:44 AM.

When I wanted to change my chrome, I was looking into buying a dummy phone and just taking that off. They are cheap, but idk if the plate will fit on a real one. I had phone some on Ebay.

I looked but didn't find anything. If anyone finds this, I'd like to know as well. My brother has a Touch Pro and for some reason can't help but push his volume button too hard and he has a nice big chunk taken out by the volume up button. He'd be ecstatic if we could simply replace that section because the device runs flawlessly.

YMMV, but i just got a replacement for the same reason for free. Ill be taking some pics, but it happens from slamming the phone shut too hard when having the keyboard open. Even though the rubber bumpers are there, they dont stop the slider from slamming into the trim piece well enough.
Also, they can replace the trim at a repair center, i just opted to get a new replacement.

Its funny, at least 35 threads a day are people who tried to flash and messed up, or wonder why in the middle of the night their phone up and did a hard reset by 'itself'.
