theres 2 hardware versions of the sprint TP...

v1 had the majority of the keyboard issues...the problem is that if you are getting refurbs they are probably refurbs of phones with the v1 hw configuration and since the phone is EOL (discontinued) you're going to have a hard time locating a new one (my stores been out for over a month)

i would call sprint ask for tech support and ask for an advance exchange MAYBE and i stress MAYBE they still have some new stock left

Or just do it on the Sprint website. It's much easier then getting transferred to 5 people, or waiting in a store for over an hour, while some moron looks at your phone, only to eventually tell you what you told him.
