I just copy and pasted it into the card, yes it is named RAPHIMG.nbh

how do i place it in the root of the card?

the root of the card is the highest level folder of the card. just don't place in any other folder on the SD card. in File Explorer (or TC), when you click on "Storage Card" make sure the .nbh file is there, and not in deeper folders.

alright there are no folders in the card so that should be fine let me try it again

still flashes a gray screen that says no image file and then goes to the tricolor screen

if i have a sdcard thats fat 32 but not the one im using in tp now will i be able to remove the card i flashed with and replace it with the one im using and still have a flashed tp? im sorry for my noobness.

when im resetting to get to the tricolor im pressing the power, bottom volume and reset on bottom of phone. Once in that screen im pressing the power button and get nothing. Running .37 CMONEX, card is formatted to FAT32, and file is name RAPHIMG.nbh

noob...? 8,500 posts is anything but noob!

but yeah you should be able to change the SD card once it's flashed.
