Re: Is there a way to have a song for text
do you mean like how you can set a ringtone u your contact list? in my experience ive found that taking the ringtone you want to and moving or copying it into the windows directory it would then be an available option in the drop down box when selecting your messeging ringtone. if theres another way some else feel free to chime in. but ive just found this has been whats worked best for me.

you can put it in your device's my documents folder and it will show up as well, because its the root of personal storage and its a reg key to look there for tones but it might show up on your playlist

if you mean whole song. that would be a long txt tone and totally kill your battery if you didnt catch the txt

Re: Is there a way to have a song for text
all my tones are on the mem card. never had a problem. if you want custom tones for all your friends try ringo. i use it and it works great, only thing i dont like about it is when someone text and it triggers the custom tone it beeps first then 1/2 a second later the ringe tone goes off. wish i could get rid of that beep.
