Re: How hard is it to actually brick a touch pro?

I bricked one once...somehow. May have been more of a hardware failure.

I had been flashing ROM's. Then a newer radio came out. Flashed the new radio. When the phone rebooted, the screen never powered back on. It would just stay blank/off and the vibrate motor would start running and not stop until you removed the battery. No ability to get to bootloader!

Another time, I remember, before I started flashing ROM's, I tried to edit my taskbar icons. Couldn't get it to boot after that. I messed something up and it would just sit at the WinMo screen. Of course if I knew even 50% of what I now know back then...it wouldn't have gone back to the store!

Re: How hard is it to actually brick a touch pro?

My phone was actually working fine. It was unlocked and i had a custom rom on it and everything. I got a Palm Pre so i put my Touch Pro in a drawer for a few months. I took it out yesterday and now it won't turn on. The only reaction i get is when i connect the phone, the charging light will blink.
