Re: Newbie question

Be careful when building roms, I would suggest using a already built rom like this one:http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=52695 . I love it, I get better battery life, and it a huge improvement from the stock rom. And both the diamond and the touch pro are vga.

If you had or have boost unlimited, you can buy a sprint phone and swap it onto your account. Howardforums.com has a whole section on boost unlimited.
Thats awesome. I thought that Boost was all Nextel, which is

Also my wife has a diamond, can I use these same roms I build for the pro on the diamond or is that a different kitchen? Last how do I know if I am vga or qvga?
Well, if you're asking questions like those...I'd say...start here then I would suggest you head over to the Diamond>>upgrade section for some reading and studying.

If you're looking here for ROM's and kitchens...stick with the names Touch Pro or Diamond. Couple of suggestions for ROM types...try a loaded ROM and then try a clean ROM (after you have collected up a bunch of programs that you will want to install yourself)...see which one suits you. When getting into kitchens...there are a few and some are easier to understand and utilize than others....so read and research.

I personally am hooked on Calkulin's Kitchens...he offers ROM's for Touch Pro and the Diamond...his link is on my signature.

Good luck and have fun!!!
