Sorry about the confusion guys. I do know that its white with pink striped normally, to keep people from simply bleaching out the red mark. What I was trying to say is that the phone's mark is half and half. In the middle of the mark it is *nearly* solid red. On the edges though its completely normal (still white with pink stripes). It's not a saturated red but more than enough to be distinctively "water-marked", hence my anger since this phone hasnt been remotely close to water.

last i heard there are also sensors inside the phone. so unless you really got it wet you should be fine. may last K1m had the sensors tripped because the phone stayed in my pocket. went through 4 of them like that and never got dinged for water damage.

TP cams have autofocus, which is a leg up from a lot of other cameraphones

low shutter lag (IMO), quick burst mode, i really like it

I recently died my back cover black and before I put it on I dried it really well, a couple of days later I noticed the lens had some moisture so I took off the back cover and I noticed that the tab had criss cross red lines. I thought I had water damage and I was pissed!! I never knew that the criss cross red lines was normal. I guess I never noticed that tab with my previous 2 TP, I saw the moisture on the lens and the criss cross red lines that I've never seen before and just figured I had water damage. Wow I guess I don't have water damage, thanks to whoever started this thread otherwise I might never have known. Sorry for your water damage though.

lol...!!!!!!!!!! I just happened to do another inspection to verify some of this info.
I got 2 tp's w/ 3 batteries.
1 phone had a slight splash on it once that left some pink dot/area around the edge.
now it's white with lines again (although the lines have faded).
guess all that heat is good for something. (heat re-activates desiccants)
anyway I do have 1 battery that got too much sweat in my pocket once, it's all pink with lines.

Well yesterday I took my phone to service and so there was another guy online we both had the keyboard death and when the rep open his phone his indicator was red. The rep made it seem like she did not see it and went to exchange it. But if you get denied one time they might tag your phone on their system and you would not be able to change it no where. I think that if you buy a battery from e-bay which also has the indicator, you can probably take it off with needles or something this way it will not get destroy and just take the one out of your phone and replace it with no problems. Is either pay the $5 to $13 on ebay than pay full price of a new phone.

I considered that too, but at least on my TP the indicators are of two different sizes. Wouldn't be a correct match

Again, to clarify my phone has absolutely ZERO water damage. It works perfectly fine and has never been around any standing or running water, so I'm not worried about it right now. What I'm worried about is if this one dies of keyboard failure too. That will piss me off so much. On top of that the thing is worthless now to sell. Who's going to buy a TP with an activated wet sticker? Working or not.
