I like the stock Apache ROM myself.

only ROM I have ever swore by... EnergyROM, esp the new one, is all you would ever want and more!

See this all depends on what apps you run.

One of the very first things I try after flashing a new ROM is whether or not the ROM will run the game Need For Speed Undercover g-sen because a lot of custom ROM's won't run it for some reason.

I am not a gamer at all really (this is the only game I have in my system), but this game is totally AWESOME (fun gameplay & killer graphics) & I like to fire it up to kill time at work occasionally.

Energy is one of the many custom ROM's that gives an error & refuses to run it. NFSFAN, the Warrior ROM & Mighty6 on the other hand all run it perfectly as do most stock ROM's.

Mighty rom 6 is pretty good

Depending on your experience with all this...you might wanna stay with stock for a little while and get used to things. That's what I've done up to this point, tweaked stock to hell and back, and it's great.
