Enable finer scrolling in Pocket Outlook Emails?

I can scroll with my finger in PIE and Outlook its self when selecting messages, but once I select I can no longer finger scroll. its seems like its stuck in text selection mode. anyone have a idea how to fix this?

If you are still on 6.1 I would upgrade to 6.5, or use sensorscroll which allows you to use the ipodstyle scroll wheel in everything.
