Re: wmp and htc album broken after tcpmp install

It may take less time to hard reset the phone (after you back up your contacts first) and just start over. It takes me about 40 minutes, including reloading all my cabs.

Yea i was thinking of that too. The only thing is that I was trying to keep from doing this so I don't try out 6.5 when my 6.1 stock ROM w/ all the apps I need are set (until now of course).

I know that sounds weird that I would not want to take this as an opportunity to try out 6.5 but right now that just seems like a project that I wouldn't want to do (as far as finding the right ROM for me). I might after I get back from Myrtle Beach (leaving to go there on the 7th)

thanks for the suggestion though

Re: wmp and htc album broken after tcpmp install

did anyone try this .cab yet?

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=479095

I couldn't get to install but it may be the fix that would correct at least the htc album video playback

ok so i removed codec pack, searched for any folders along with registry keys for that, did the same for tcpmp, soft reset the device, and it still will not play in htc album, wmp, or shozu.

i really think i can at least fix one part if that album fix would install but i can't seem to get it to successfully install
