Advanced exchange sent me a refurb at the same time that customer service sent me a NIB. They don't even want my old phone back. I just have to get this refurb back to them since UPS didn't give me the chance to refuse it at the door like Sprint wanted me to.

I think I just got luck, or either they just got tired of me emailing them back.

I work for a Sprint indirect dealer and can tell you that the reason we often steer people away from the touch pro is the maintenance the customers require after purchase.

Often people get it because it looks cool and it's expensive..they almost always end up hating it. Sprint then sends them a survey asking about the experience they had in the store and they give us a 1 based on how frustrated they are with the phone. That 1 generally ends up costing the rep about 10% of his paycheck.

I just wanted to point that out to everyone who's so eager to put all of the blame on the rep. Sprint advertises that every customer is going to leave an expert and then implements sales quotas that are impossible to hit if we spent the required time that would take with every customer.

Would be wise to take into account both sides to a story and the external factors effecting it before referring to a whole group of people in a diminutive manor.

im a manager and they are discontinued but discountinued means they arnt being produced any more. so u will see them till supplies run out

^^^^^ what ever the rep that sold me my TP told me it was a great phone no troubles at all if the rep was worried about money he would have pointed me to a completely phone know im on my 8th phone

My opinions of the reps I have dealt with have nothing to do with the phone. It is the reps themselves.

Duuudes, just because one rep had no principles, it doesnt mean that the whole joint is messed up, nomsayin. HTC pro or windows isnt for evrybody,it requires tweaks,customization,care.....that why lots of geeks on here like it including me.
If you want some that works str8 out of the box ,limited in fuctionality and looks good there is the iphone.
I had onE mOGUL the whole time,matter of fact I still have it and it works well (except for the lack of Ram), and now i am still on my first TP (10/19/08-4000 calls and tons of data)
The on and off switch started being unresponsive,went to the store, the tech changed the screen in like 5 minutes, i was outta there

Hahaha that's the only reason I wish I still had the same phone, to see the usage stats!

It doesn't bother me too much that these phones screw up often.. I have TEP and I scratch and ding my phone all the time, so getting a fresh one every so often is very win...

Oddly enough I have had a hell of a time finding a guy that isn't an uneducated, abusive, jobless mongoloid. And every time I do find someone decent, I find out that there's a girlfriend or wife waiting in the wings. I'm one of those 'always a bridesmaid, never a bride' type of gals...
