Get rid of Bluetooth icon

Anyone know what is the registry edit to get rid of the bluetooth icon? The HTC notification enhancement perceives this to be a notification which will not go away. Any new notification causes the generic message bubble to come up. So while in one program I can tell if I missed a call, have a notification, or a new SMS.

Maybe the problem is in the notification enhancement?

P.S. Did they ever figure out how to open tmail from the notification enhancement when you get a new SMS?
