I just tried 3 different versions:

1. 2.5

2. 3.0

3. Album with the social networking engine.

#3 is the same one that's in Merdin 4.5, but it doesn't work as well as a cab install for some reason. If I open an h.264 video from my card in merdin's 6.5 it opens with on-screen controls. I have been unable to get those on-screen display with any cab install.

Is anybody else getting the OSD from a cab install of Album??

I've tried the 3.0 version, and its just like the oone in Merdinh's rom. I've never tried to run a video on it yet though. I'm still vacationing in New Jersey lol.

yea, it's definitely the same version but it's when running a video I see the difference.

Maybe someone could try a video & see if you get the same result that I do??

I can A/B from one phone running merdin's 6.5 (4.5) to another running NFSFAN 108 with this installed from a cab & see the difference. In the merdin system a video opens with on screen controls showing. They are REAL BASIC controls, but I can't get them to appear at all in the cab install.
