Dismiss all notifications

Does anyone know of a program that will let me dismiss all of the various notifications at once? Sometimes I will be away from my phone and I will get a couple of calls and my phone keeps flashing its led until I go in and manually dismiss them. Usually, I will just call the number back by pressing send and then send again. This does not remove the notification. Another thing that bothers me and I think would benefit from this is when you ignore an incoming call. You have to manually go and dismiss it when you already know who was calling. I don't want to disable the notifications all together, however I would like to be able to dismiss them quickly and efficiently.
