Re: screen is glitchy...changes from portrait to landscape..why?
could be a glitch in the accelerometer or the g-sensor application in that ROM, but if its happening with every ROM you try then its most likely is the phone.

you can also use the gyrator2 app to try to change certain apps from using the gsensor

yupyup.. my first one did it shortly after buying it.. and my replacement's doing it now, i think it has to do with not enough padding where the ribbon is inside, eventually, after LOTS of sliding it opene and close, it starts cutting it. and i've been VERY careful with this one..

Re: screen is glitchy...changes from portrait to landscape..why?
i'm not trying to hijack this thread, but i was wondering, since this isn't the first time i've read about people having this problem (and i'm having it again), is this a known issue with this phone?

Re: screen is glitchy...changes from portrait to landscape..why?
Mine has been doing this too. It only seemed to start recently (about a month and a half ago) but I thought it was ROM related. I had been running a version of Mighty's ROM since I got the phone (around Christmas) but only had problems after trying 6 or 7 different ROM's a month and a half ago.
It's very odd, because I even find that certain things make it occur more often (youtube videos, certain windows themes, SPB Shell) which would make me think it wasn't hardware related. |
