Re: Its Getting Harder To Surf In Here
banned for accidentally posting in the wrong forum? this site is noob friendly and banning someone for making a small mistake is rediculous. many people dont read the rules and that's how we have so many postings in the wrong forums. i think that to overcome this, a good idea would be to go to the cdma touch pro upgrades forum and at the top of the page write ONLY FOR ROMS AND KITCHENS!!! and when someone wants to post a new topic in the upgrades forum, have a message in bold that says something like: WARNING, THIS PART OF THE FORUM IS ONLY FOR ROMS AND KITCHENS. IF YOUR QUESTION OR POST IS ABOUT A ROM, POST ON THE ROM'S PAGE. IF IT IS A GENERAL TOUCH PRO QUESTION OR PROBLEM YOU ARE EXPERIENCING, POST IN TOUCH PRO GENERAL!

Re: Its Getting Harder To Surf In Here
It's a good thing to gently remind people what the upgrade forums are for. If you run across a thread that needs to be moved you can use the report function or pm a staff member, etc.
For now I'm gonna drop this into the general Touch Pro Forum. late, Coz

Re: Its Getting Harder To Surf In Here
I think it would be a good idea if there was a forced popup when somebody clicks the new thread button in the upgrades forum. Something like a popup confirming your new thread will only be for posting a new rom, kitchen or radio. Along with a warning and consequences for not complying with this policy.

I believe this should be implemented. It could help. Not sure how hard this would be. But then again, they'd prolly not even read the popup. haha I think in my suggestion I put something like have them click a check box or radio button that would confirm that it should be in that section, or if they select a problem or that they're looking for a program/etc/etc, that it should automatically post it in the regular section instead. That's my idea, not sure how hard, but I think it'd be quite a useful addition to the tools here on this website.
