This has solved the problem for now, I gave my TP a number of missed calls and left it for a couple of hours. Battery life was almost the same, will post back later on or tomorrow.

Re: Battery runs out

u mean greyed out by faded, right? if that is the case then they are not active.
Grayed out LED notification options fix
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Not sure how many of you noticed, but the option to flash LED on a new text message, email, voicemail and missed call is grayed out and disabled in the Sounds and Notifications Settings.
Here's a Fix:
If you have TF3DConfig 0.6.7 Installed:
1. drop the attached tweaks.xml file into Program Files/Diamond TF3D Config/
2. Open Diamond TF3D Config
3. Open the "Tweaks" Tab and check the bottom four options
If you do not have TF3DConfig 0.6.7 installed, you can change the following registry settings:
Text message LED:
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65B-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\
AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0
Email LED
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\
AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0
Voicemail LED
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D661-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\
AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0
Missed Call LED
HKCU\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877D660-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}\
AvailableOptions change from 11 to 0
