winmo 6.5 phone freezes/lags when ringing (on idle)

im using mightyrom 5... and i dont know if its the rom or its the factory keyguard thing which is doing it... but soemtimes when my phone screen is off, someone calls me, i see my lights flashing but the screen lags/delays on showing a call coming in...and when i finally do see the call coming, the phone has rang quite a while already....anyone have the same issue?

It may be the HTC dialer and/or the ring type that is causing the ring delay. Both have been discussed at length (search for "ring delay").

Briefly, the solution in that case is to disable the HTC dialer (aka "phone skin"), restore default WM volume control and change the ring type to eliminate unnecessary pauses. Once again, search is your friend.
