LOL..I hear what you are saying, but I have a lot of contacts and personal info , like birthdays and stuff. I certainly do not want to write all of that again by hand into the phone.
I personalized my baby with my picture @ starup and everything....trust me.=- Trust me, I will start fresh if it happens again...with a new phone that is not winmo! I am on the reset screen after the restore copied all files to my phone. we're almost there. Ok, we got past the TOUCH screen. I'm back to my old configs and settings..Phone is back to its old self now. Now I just have to update some contacts, do a syncing with MyPhone and that other one I use. Then we're off for the races and performing a new backup... Cross your fingers!!!! It would have really been helpful if Sprint sheisty network allowed their backup service (CONTACTS) to use Smart phones instead of regular phones. Grrrr!!!! JE

Yea I gotcha... it's a real PITA re-installing everything to get your phone back to where u had it before hand that's why quite a few people are using programs like Sashimi to do the work for them... good luck bro.

try a different backup program after you get the phone up and running again. i suggest PimBackup works awesome and i have never gotten an error what so ever
