Re: Updated June 24th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

I have a problem & of course XDA is down again.

I am trying this ROM again & it plays absolute hell with my WiFi connection. I don't normally use WiFi, but I absolutely need it working to use with WMWifitouter.

Everytime I flash to the latest NFSFAN, my Wifi basically stops working 95% of the time. I click the slider in the comm manager & it turns on but nothing happens. My taskbar icon never changes & it doesn't connect.

If I flash back to any other ROM it works fine.

Man, this is getting annoying.

I just did a hard reset twice & the WiFi seemed to be working.

I then installed WMWIfirouter 1.52 & tried it & it worked fine (my ipod touch connected just fine)

I then soft reset & everything went to hell. The WiFi stopped working totally.

Well, I guess the latest ROM seems to have a problem with WMWifirouter.

I have now hard reset 3 times in a row & every time I install WMWifi (& I've tried three different versions of WMWifi including a beta version they sent me) it immediately breaks the WiFi.

Re: Updated June 24th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

I am trying NFSFAN Energy rom v3 for the first time. I downloaded CMYXLYGO's Energy rom Pimp pack and this rom has been pretty sweet all day. Was alittle worried about the memory size Storage-309.97 mb and Program-203.87 mb. Because I have some of my own stuff to load but so far it is only taking up 44% total. Not to bad. Has anyone used his rom's for any given time? If so how is the battery life? So far very sweet and smooth rom.

Re: Updated June 24th* NFSFAN's Custom WM6.5 ROMs

For anybody who runs these ROMS, the newest one is absolutely killer.

I have been running it a few days now:

I used NRG for a few weeks while I waited for this version to come out & I am awfully glad to be back on this setup again (I had a half dozen well known/documented problems with the energy ROM, none whatever with this one). This ROM is super fast/fluid & has superb battery life also.

I have three Sprint TP's (activated on Verizon), the oldest one was purchased last Nov & this is the first time I think my system is absolutely PERFECT (of course, just in time to swap for a TP2)

Tried installing "touch response" to add vibration to the touch screen, it installs "correctly" and soft resets, however it doesn't show up in the programs list... and there is no vibration feedback.

Any idea why it is not working?
