palringo killing the phone battery
Anybody having issues with Palringo killing the battery? If I do not use Palringo my phone can make it the whole day and night without being charged. But with Palringo open, it only last about 4 hours.

I had the same prob, I ditched it because of it. It is consantly connected to the net even if you shut it down, so yeah it iwll drain the batterey big time. I have not tried the beejive IM yet to see if it does the same....

i tried it, pretty site, pretty interface, but it won't let me add facebook or MSN. I know 100% password username are correct, still won't let me add it.

There is a thread in the Software Forum for adding Facebook. Also, in the settings of Palringo select the "power save" mode...or whatever it's called.

If my lowly 700wx can go all day surely you're "cool phones" can top me.

without power save on, it pulls data every few seconds to update your online users and such.. even power save though doesnt make a huge difference.. power save just disconnects for you when you switch over to other windows and such, but its not instant and it doesnt always reconnect right away, so your pulling again trying to reconnect....

the stock oz mess. works real good for battery life if you just want yahoo, msn, and aim
