USB automatically opens Internet Sharing

I installed ConFlippers Alltel ROM on my TP and whenever I would connect my phone to the computer via USB, it would give me 3 options (Sync, Hard Disk, Internet Sharing). I usually used Hard Disk, but the other day I did the Internet Sharing option. Now whenever I connect the usb to my phone it automatically opens the Internet Sharing Settings.

I would like to make it go back to how it was before. If anyone has any ideas how to do that, that would be great!

Thanks
Sean

Should be simple assuming your rom has included all of the control panel options. See:
Settings --> Connections --> USB to PC
Select that, and read the options present.
(I'd highly suggest checking the last option present as well)

Re: USB automatically opens Internet Sharing

I had this happen to me on Mighty ROM 5 the other day.

If you did NOT choose to disconnect in Internet Sharing prior to pulling the USB, you will need to go back in to Internet Sharing mode, connect again, and then make sure you DISCONNECT. Then unplug and replug the phone back in, and that should fix you up.

As NooneSpecial mentioned, make sure you go to Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC, and check the "Always Ask" button.

Re: USB automatically opens Internet Sharing

NooneSpecial, I did not mention that I had already checked that setting, so to clarify....I already check the "Always Ask Me First" option, and it was checked.

basilray, Thanks a lot man! that was the issue.
