Re: Anyone Drop there TP in Water?

Try using a strap like I do, it helps prevent dropping and works great when taking picks while at the beach or on a boat. I would do an insurance claim, the deductible is $100. You can buy a strap anywhere they sell cameras.
It fits into the small slot on the back cover. Good luck... Also, maybe check your pockets better before doing laundry.

Yikes mate. Not trying to be a downer, but I would be really surprised if it recovers. Keep us posted... and +1 as my condolences....

Re: Anyone Drop there TP in Water?

i dunno why its only 50bucks, someone tried to say it was july 1st it starts, but if you call sprint or asurion itll be 100 for sure, but not online...ill take it lol

and they sent notice... you shouldve gotten a great big book(i know alot of us did, there were links even where you could read and view it) with every phone and the new dedutable and the guidines that state once you pay your phone bill for the month the higher deduct goes into effect, your acknowledging the new deductable fee..

so why are they charging 100 already if you CALL, its strange if u ask me.. i tossed my book too, mine came months ago.. someone needsto look and check, then people who got charged the hundred need to go back and demand a 50 dollar credit back

Re: Anyone Drop there TP in Water?

it seems if you haven't had any or many returns, your deductable is $50. if you've had alot of claims or returns, you pay $100.

Re: Anyone Drop there TP in Water?

depends on if anyting shorted while in the water, best bet is to let it dry for a few days and see what it does, never know.

humm, i had to replace my mogul a week after it went up to $100, 0 claims in 3 years i have been with sprint and it was sure $100. i did get a new TP out of it but still would have like to paid 50 instead of 100.

Re: Anyone Drop there TP in Water?

a few years back, i was drawing a bath for my girlfriend and set my sony vaio ux on the back of the toilet. as i turned around, i bumped it and into the toilet it went... never turned on again after that. that was $2000 down the drain (no pun intended). i sold it on ebay as nonfunctional/as-is, and bought the newer model.

also, if someone could post a picture of a tripped water damage sticker, it'd be helpful to me and i'm sure others... i dripped chocolate ice cream on my jeans and forgot i had my spare battery in my pocket before scrubbing off the chocolate with water, but i can't tell if it's tripped

When a water damage indicator is tripped, it just turns completely red. I would post a pic, but i would hope everyone knows what red looks like

Wesscoggin is correct. You are not tripped, it would be completely red if it were.
