my old tp would get pretty hot too. i switched to the uscellular radio and it helped a bit. i'm using the new verizon radio on my new tp, but not for long enough to vouch for it.

Darren is right, removing the back cover helps a TON. I do this whenever I charge my phone as I have the Invisible Shield on mine and it kinda acts as an insulator, keeping the heat in. It saves me a lot of hassel just removing the back cover!

Try the Sprint 1.10 radio. My refurb runs MUCH cooler, but some of it is because of the radio switch as well as going to MightyROM 5.
