But yea. You may have a more serious issue that would require replacing. ROM memory shouldn't be affected when you cut off power unless you were writing something to the critical sectors.

im not joking about the phone being thrown at the wall. Maybe it was a electric surge that deleted it all i know is it works now...... (after my phone met my wall)
