Serious Memory Issue (very low with nothing open??)

I have a VZW Touch Pro, I know they are crippled in the memory dept. but I have nothing running except Seven (push email) and AIM... I do use TF3D, etc... But I'm at 88% used??

Seems awfully high to me!

Any ideas??

im not runnning stock... im running ssk 2.1.1... i stopped using tf3d and its much better but i really liked using tf lol.... i dropped literally 20% just unloading that!

any other ideas?

Well, I understand both AIM and Seven are fairly cumbersome memory hogs. The information in the SSk thread would have me believe your free memory on a clean boot is only about 50 megs anyways, I could easily see those two programs alone pushing you into the 80% used range.

What is your memory usage right after a restart, with nothing running?

I would do a Hard reset and see if that fixes the issue.

AIM uses over 10mb?? I just checked task manager and found it was using 10.1MB!

Okay, away with AIM, maybe Palringo, I used to use that a long long time ago, lol..

Yeah mate, and Seven uses between 4-5 megs, and is also reported to frequently "cause the phone to slow down," which I imagine is due to it indexing and storing all your mail in device memory.

I've seen other pushmail apps that use only 700K, it might be worth checking a few out. Just some thoughts though.

I'm running the newest version that has OTA, etc..
