Repeat events in my calendar

So after flashing a few ROMs, and then re-active syncing to my PC, I have come to realize that when I now active sync my TP to my PC, some of the events come up like 8 times in the same day, for example; today is my wedding anniversary, and my TP showed it as 8 different calendar appointments...? I understand I probably did something wrong, but when I checked my Outlook Calendar, there were 8 there as well. Is there anyway to simply clear my calendar on my TP so I can 'Replace items on PC', without losing ALL of my information? As of now, I am having to go through my entire calendar and delete each one separately

I would think you can alter that setting under active sync/menu If I recall correctly. Once you connect your TP, items will be changed in your PC not TP...

from my dealings there isnt a way around it. I often run into the exact same problem. Since i back up my contact information on my phone, I usually have to either wait to either restore it back to my phone after i re-sync with my computer. If not then i will have duplicates on both on my TP and computer. When this happens i use a program on my PC call ODIR. It does a good job of removing duplicate calendar, contact and task entries. For my PC i have used SKTools but it sometimes delete all the calendar entries instead of just the duplicate. One of the guys on has made a program that does a good job deleting duplicate contacts. I spoke with him and he is going to incorporate calendar and task duplicates as well. You might want to try it. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=70998
