Original Sprint ROM Needed - Have to do warranty exchage

Hello to all,

Over the past week I have had a few issues with my phone namely:

• Rainbow, square oil like pattern in the center of my screen (hardware).
• Reduced, if non-existent touch functionality (hardware).
• Phone randomly turning on, switching to landscape (possible ROM issue).

Individually not so bad, but considering I paid some coin and they are happening all at once I am gonna swap it out. I have used a few ROM's on it and I am pretty confident that they are not the main culprit for the screen issue. I read elsewhere that the rainbow issue is an existing problem, although I am not sure why it took over 6 months to show up.

I would appreciate any links to the less-than-spectacular Original Sprint ROM. I would like to do this today if possible. J8 is about to be released!

Hopefully Best Buy won't give me too much of a hassle.

Here is the link to the Sprint ROM.... You will also need to relock it with this afterwards...Relocking it is like flashing a ROM

Installed the 'ship' version. No issues. Definately not the ROM. The screen randomly turns off and on and switches between landscape and portrait.

I thought crap like this happened to ppl that dropped their phone or decided to take it running and to sweat/humidity in it.

Bum deal, glad I kept my receipt in the box.

Thanks, I didn't know I had to re-lock it. Good looking!

EDIT: Wait, is this another ROM? The screen looks like the boot loader/ROM update and it is asking me to go from the Sprint ship ROM 1.03.651.4 to 0.37.stock. That can't be right can it?

yes it is right..it looks like your putting other rom on it but it just locking it.. the screen with the taskbar takes like a second and it be done.

lucky you ive has the same oil marks on my screen for 3 months touch responce is down 60 % ad lest only had the phone since feb 09 ... sprint told me it would be 140$ to get a new one. i called retentons same thing

Please....keep on retentions. Are you a single acct holder?? I have 4 acct's assigned to me and I threatened to gladly pay the early term fee because their customer service sucked so bad.
