It will wake up the phone everytime it connects to download. If you have titanium weather set up to auto update that will do it to. There's just tons of things that could cause this.

Re: htc touch pro screen turns on by itself..
For the emails go to Start/Programs/ click on the Windows Live icon... click menu in the bottom right corner... click options in the pop up...click Sync Schedule to adjust frequency, it's probably already set to manual if u didn't know how to get to this beforehand... Now Titanium Weather is for Windows 6.5... is that what your running? If so, I'm running 6.1 & can only tell u how to enable or disablke the updates in TF3D weather.... Slide over to the weather tab...click menu...click settings... uncheck boxes..

That can't be right, though -- it's sily for the whole phone to turn on (including the screen) just to send/receive email. Makes no sense to drain the battery needlessly like that.

If you go to start>messaging. and then go to menu (should be a soft key), press options. then tap whatever emails you have and go through the setup and change it to manual sync instead of automatic. (you'll have to adjust settings for each individually) Quote:
