My first hardware replacement!

So I've had my Telus HTC Touch Pro for something like 2 months now. Today I turned it on and I had grey vertical bars obscuring about 75% of the screen. Phone still functions, takes calls, etc, touch screen still works. You just can't see what the heck you're doing. I restored it to stock rom, relocked it, and went to telus. They said that its an over the counter replacement, but for some reason with telus that takes 3 days. Over the counter apparently also means "over the weekend". I was more than lucky with my mogul, which never broke until the end of its life, but my first touch pro only lived 2 months.
