Also, did anyone come up with a clever idea to help with the battery with the switching between 1x and Ev? I used advan config to limit data sessions, but i'm thinking there might be some way to help with the battery loss on the constant switching.

hey about that advanced config. watch that. that sometimes messes up your phone and you get delayed phone calls or stuff like that.

yup it's made for gsm.

I personally found that the auto backlight control was a big drain, not to mention annoying.

i usually use this regedit
AUTO - Data Disconnect regedit?
1. Navigate to HKLM\Comm\CommMgr\Planner\Settings\
2. Delete the following key: "SuspendResume"
3. If this key doesn't exist add "CacheTime" value of 60

MondayPickle posted this mortscript that i use to easily toggle from 1x to Ev with one click. You can either put it in the start menu, or the programs tab, or wherever you find it most convenient. Just unzip the file and follow the readme

I'm using Mighty 5 win 6.5

I followed the instructions.
I put romaning shortcut where it asked. and ran the togglex.msc. I also installed cab.

It wasn't switching modes.
