If u got email coming in every few hours it shouldn't be making that much of an impact...You are prolly just better off getting a larger battery or carry a spare

Yeah, I think that's what I'm personally am going to do.
I'll probably get the 3000 mah battery,
I just have to find a case I like that fits with that.

Hey cody if your still on the Vogue you should check out this battery, I used it for a year and it was awesome, I never had any issues with battery life.

I don't know if you use S2U2, but the current version 1.62 apparently has a bug that drains the battery when a data connection is open, there is a beta update that is supposed to fix this, you can find it in the original XDA thread. I've had terrible battery life with my TP since day one, but I was using directpush exchange email, and Imap idle push Gmail, last week I changed them both to every hour, and using Advanced Config, I set my data connection to disconnect after 30 seconds of idle time. I definely reccomend you try this. My battery will last all day a good ten hours now, with about 50 texts and 30 to 60 minutes of talk time, and still a good amount of data usage. I always read that an idle EV connection would not drain power, but now I wonder if that is true, or maybe I still have a software bug sucking all my juice when data is on.

I charge my phone alot. I even leave it plugged in about all day at work while playing pandora and I think Iv probably messed up my battery life.
I think im gonna try killing it totally dead then charging it all the way back up with the phone off a few times and see if I notice an improvment.

I never use any kinda push.
I will however try the s2u2 fix. I assume all you do is go to where it's installed and replace the ilock.exe
I will also as well try the advanced config dealie.
I've been doing about 100-200 texts a day. (in and outgoing combined).
